took the mrt to work and tried out the circle line. it's liberating to be able to close both eyes in the morning. best of all, i got to stroll to one-north residences and met gf for a long long afternoon tea between work and my evening class. flat white and latte at jimmy monkey were nutty and non-acidic. totally to our taste. scone came with a pleasant tasting herb/spice which we could not recognise. time with the gf was of course priceless. no wonder people say one do not lose friends with time, you just find real ones.

therefore my silly dissertation and crazy work schedule will just have to work round my gfs' whims. another gf wanted shopping and we scooted to town for a great round of toiletries shopping before my evening class yesterday. it was very therapeutic indeed. absolutely delighted to find the old pantry's faves still yummy at toast. the ion and fairways drive outlets can't seem to match up anytime. we shared the moist moist elvis and bellies were very happy.

how were the scones?
scone was nice. very well textured and had a pleasant taste which i could not quite figure out. will definitely want to eat it again
