Maison Ikkoku Cafe

Another indie cafe in the Arab Street enclave. Maison Ikkoku has a sufficiently long string of media coverage despite its fairly new existence. Just Google. I like the fact that they use Yirgacheffe beans. Guys will like the menswear at its second level.

Take a number and wait to be served.

Maison Ikkoku has an industrial feel complete with luxurious leather cushion seats. I so love the stark contrast of it.

Pretty sharp latte art on my flat white.

I am really no coffee drinker but visiting these cosy indie cafes is seriously more addictive than caffeine.

Half a yummy pumpkin cheesecake.

Very freshly made and we can tell from one bite off the light but crispy crust.  This is one luscious cheese cake anybody can finish easily without knowing.

They are part of The U Cafe too.

Another nice place to hang out on our sunny shores. Aren't we lucky people?

Photos taken by iPhone and tampered with Snapseed.
