Si Chuan Dou Hua Doubles Effort to Raise Funds for Japan
I have been feeling a lot about Japan's earthquake but never know how this blog can help till I saw this media release from Si Chuan Dou Hua. Yup, if you happen to read this, go, spread the word around or do whatever we can to help the people of Japan. Every little effort counts.
So here goes.
So here goes.
Some Random Food
A technology laggard am I. I am more interested in buying bags, watches, jewellery and cosmetic than any technology-related stuff. I associate mobile phones, cameras and computers as utilities rather than toys. They still are but must admit I am playing with instagram quite a bit ever since I got an iPhone. I am not really that sold but at least I am having fun.

Tatsuya Japanese Restaurant: It's Just Lunch
you get to eat at Tatsuya for less than $30. This is no big secret for most foodies out there. The lunch bentos at Tatsuya are simply irresistible. I am no connoisseur but do have a discerning palate. After a series of unfortunate meals at the usual Japanese eateries at our shopping malls. I simply have to eat at Tatsuya to erase those bad memories of stale sashimi and rancid smell of inedible grilled seafood.

A Day in Pontian (It's Not About Any Wanton Mee!)
Some of friends asked about the JB food trip after reading my post on Yat Siong Ting and I realised that I have this in draft for ages already. My JB trip took place last September. Super delayed in posting I know.
We basically spend our day in Pontian, visited a pineapple museum, got ourselves acquainted with the varieties and methods of preserving the fruit. Of course, we had a try of their very sweet pineapples. Apparently, one pineapple takes about 10 to 12 months to be harvested. So better appreciate it!

Hollywood China Bistro: The Aftermath
We go to Universal Studios for the Battlestar Galactica right? Who goes for the food right? You cannot blame me for the unwise tea decision after Battlestar Galactica right? Yes tea not lunch. The aftermath of the ride was too overwhelming. Took me a long while to get over it. I am glad I am still a human after the ride. My handy S90 nearly suffered from a premature death at the Water World. Photos are taken on my camera phone. I try to hide the lousy shoots by putting them into a collage.

Cheap and Chic Bangkok Version 2011: 11 Gallery
Save the best for last or so they say. There must be something 11 Gallery is doing right for me to want to eat there again in Bangkok. Hee. This time round, gone are the tiffins. Decor is still rustic and old world Bangkok. Charming.
We got modern white bowls and plates instead!
