Mushroom Pot

Her Highness wanted to try Mushroom Pot. I do not know about your household. In mine, whatever Her Highness wants, she gets.

Cold Mushroom Beancurd Roll

While far from outstanding, the rolls were pretty refreshing.

Sichuan Shredded Chicken

Tasted nothing like its name. The chicken was neither spicy nor numbing.

Stir Fry Squid in Spicy Bean Paste

Squid was so chewy to near unpalatable.

Calamari

Ditto for the squid. Wasabi mayo was yummy nevertheless.

Kung Bao Minkey Head Mushroom

The mushrooms were pretty nice. Wished that the batter was lighter though.

Crispy Beancurd Mushroom Rolls

Quite yummy but I have issue with the sweet chilli sauce on top, too redundant.

Fried Shitake Mushroom

Delish albeit slightly oily.

Black Pepper Pork

This was the first of the three dishes which I took more than a bite. The pork slices were not only tender but well-seasoned with black pepper.

Tempura Prawns

Prawns were as competently executed as any conveyor belt sushi eatery.

Monkey Head Mushrooms with Honey

Again I wished they used less flour. Walnuts were crunchy and yummy. Yes, I took more than a bite. Ate 2 mushrooms and several walnuts.

Deep-Fried Mantou

This was my star of Mushroom Pot's hi-tea buffet. These glossy buns were as good as they looked and went nicely with the condensed milk at the side. They were so cute and small. I finished the entire bun in three bites.
