Shiok Maki and Its Second Generation

Friends say I am a waste of good sushi and people like me are only good enough for cheap sushi bars.

And who am I to blame them? Years ago, I was barked by the chef at Shinji and no one dare to bring me back again ;P I have this criminal habit of drowning my sushi and sashimi with copious amount of wasabi and mayonnaise. Quite sure any self-respecting Japanese chef would want to set a ninja on me.

And so the shiok maki is just the right thing. The original shiok!! is sure the mother of all bastardised makis - aburi salmon, avocado, unagi, topped with mayo and fish roe. Shiok!! really lives up to its name. SHIOK!! Generation 2 is a lighter rendition of its predecessor. Unagi is replaced with tempura prawn and avocado with wakame. I say I like the original shiok!! How about you?

Hi PY! I've never visited this place before but they seem to be very generous with their ingredients! Look at the roe on the sushi!
